The Stitches Are Gone!

We made the trip to Iowa City yesterday, and they took the stitches out. I'm thrilled more than anything to be able to wash my own hair, and not have my head wrapped up in a bandage. This morning I was able to dry my hair, and I look almost normal - if you can get past the eye that doesn't blink, and the lop-sided smile. At least I feel a little less like Frankenstein!

    So glad to hear that the visit went well yesterday and the stitches are gone YAY! Aren't the docs amazed at how well you are doing? I am! Keep it up and hope you have a nice summer weekend. ~Jody

    We were looking for a post yesterday but I am sure the trip to Iowa City wore you out. These are some very big milestones that you are just zooming through. You will be your old self in no time:) Hold off on the golf and walks around the neighborhood for a little while longer or we will think that this whole ordeal was nothing much!!
