Ok, I am an idiot! But let me expand upon that so you don't think I'm a complete fool. I spent the last day and a half in this massive complex (20 different elevator banks, 150 different medical units, spread over 6 floors) and finally got comfortable finding the cafeteria and bathroom this morning. Then the move us. So I just went out to the nurses station and asked "where can I find a bathroom", to which she replied, "you mean other than the one in your room". Doohhhhhh. (insert sound of palm of hand slapping forehead here). ---Mark

  2. A bathroom? Actually, I would not have assumed that the staff would want me to use the patient's bathroom, so I don't think you are a fool at all. Kathleen, sorry you are experiencing nausea. Quite understandable given an entire day of anesthesia. I hope the meds help and that you are able to get on with healing. Hugs and prayers for you both!!!

  3. Not an idiot at all. Actually sounds like something I would do. Praying that the nausea passes real soon and that Kathleen can get up and walking around!

  4. Sounds to me like Kathleen is doing amazingly well ... exactly what I would expect from her. The nausea is horrible and certainly she wants to get past that so she can get up and around, however, pain meds and rest are your friend right now :) So take it easy wonder woman and let your body heal. Mark, you are an inspiration and can be my media coordinator/care giver any day!!

  5. Yes, Mark, you are doing an amazing job and it's terrific that you can now read out the greetings and prayerful thoughts going out to Kathleen. Do hope the nausea subsides and recovery is speeded up. God bless, you are an amazing woman, Kathleen. Liz(MaryElizabeth@dsp)

  6. Love the bathroom story. Sounds like something I'd do for sure, and I'd *still* feel like I was sneaking in to use the one in the room. Kathleen, hang in there, it will get better for you. We are all still thinking of you here at DSP! ♥

  7. Kathleen - we are following every word and are praying for a quick and complete recovery. Mark is doing a great job of keeping us informed although we are concerned that he is not getting enough rest since he walked past a bathroom to ask the location of a bathroom :)

By the way this is Robert (as hard as it may seem) - I even checked out the latest update yesterday during a break in our meeting with our CEO - he wishes you well also (smile). Get some rest and get well soon.
